You understand what I mean? Is there a way of manually download and install monitor.sys file? What is even in there? I did ChkDsk too. That's what I'm asking because if it can't, the error in the corrupted monitor.sys file should still be there. How can a 3rd party driver modify system files from windows. If windows monitor.sys which is a WINDOWS SYSTEMFILE caused the error, why can a Intel driver update modify it. Then it was installed and the problem seems to be solved. While installing, my screen went of like 3 times. It took me to the Intel page and I installed some kind of updateinstaller. So I ran Intel Update programm and searched for updates. It didn't crash this session so I went in the device manager to check the driver of the monitor for updates, but it said "Up to date". No driver update, so I didn't install it. I did, there was one, but it was only a normal security patch. So another option was to reboot and quickly search if there are new windows updates. I ran DISM online check health, it also said "No integrity problems." But no. I ran sfc and it said "No corrupted files" then I thought "Well, maybe that's it". I tried to search on the internet on this issue. My laptop did this sometime before, but when I rebooted it, the problem went away. I couldn't read it that fast, but it said something about monitor.sys file. I've been at the desktop for lets say 1 min. Today I started my Laptop (Dell G15, Intel I7 12700H, Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060, 30GB RAM) and it booted pretty normally. The thing is that I don't understand why it would be fixed. This Windows 7 NVIDIA driver is compatible with the NVIDIA TITAN series and GeForce 10, 900, 700, and 600 series desktop GPUs, as well as GeForce MX100, 10, 900M, 800M, 700M, and 600M series notebook GPUs.
